Josefina Rodriguez is a dedicated educator with deep roots in the heart of Oak Cliff, Dallas.
As an esteemed alumna of Dallas ISD, she attended L.O. Donald Elementary, Stockard Middle School, and graduated from Sunset High School.

With an unwavering commitment to education, Mrs. Rodriguez has served Dallas ISD for over two decades in various capacities, including School Clerk, Office Manager, Teacher Assistant, Teacher, and Assistant Principal. Her tenure spans roles as a one-way and two-way dual language educator, where she consistently guided students to surpass academic benchmarks across third through sixth grades.

Recognized for her exceptional performance, she transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal at Jill Stone Elementary after eight successful years in the classroom. Most recently, she served the W.E. Greiner community in the role of Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Rodriguez pursued her higher education while balancing full-time employment, earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of North Texas and a Master's in Education with a focus on Urban Education Leadership from Southern Methodist University.

Driven by her passion for fostering learning environments, Mrs. Rodriguez has made enduring impacts on students, educators, and the broader community throughout her distinguished career. Renowned for her strong work ethic and district-wide contributions, she remains steadfast in her commitment to ensuring equitable education opportunities for all students.

Drawing on her extensive experience and collaborative approach, Mrs. Rodriguez is excited to lead the Lida Hooe Elementary Hawks as they embark on a collective journey toward academic excellence.
